These services will be provided for all categories of patients: We will operate

a) PICU: (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) for patients who are acutely unwell, agitated,   aggressive, and presenting with psychosis symptoms.

b) CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Unit)

c) Elderly unit for older adults above 65 years of age

d) Forensic Unit for those who have had contact with the criminal justice system

e) Dementia (elderly services and Young ones as well)

f) Rehabilitation services

Evidence has suggested that quite a significant number of patients of Africa origin who travel back to African recovered over a period of time and became medication free as well: This shows how environmental factors can affect peoples mental health positively{ More research are needed in this area to ascertain what is responsible for this significant recovery:

DIPCAMS will take away the stigma and social pressure associated with mental illness in Africa. It is most shameful and discouraging to state that one way or the other, significant amount of mental health patients lost their lives within a short period of being diagnosed: Most of the victims are taking to religious centers because most African believe that mental health is a spiritual problem and not medical.

They wrongly believe that herbalist or ‘’voodoo’’ men can actually make an individual becoming mentally (mad as it is called in Africa) ill by cursing the victim with voodoo.

By and large, the medical most of the mental illness, Dopamine theory (overactive Dopamine D2 receptors) is not working in Africa; Most of the patients are chained to their beds, seats or trees within a compound as the case may be or are linked to one another with chains and padlocks while been lined up on the street walking on a straight line to beg for arms as a result of lack of fund and amenities at most religious centers looking after them.
